Carli Backcountry Leveling 2.5 System Base 2.5in Lift 2014–2022 Ram 2500

The Carli Backcountry 2.0 Leveling System delivers a strong balance of on-road ride quality, towing control, and mild off-road capability at a reasonable price. Built for 2014 and newer Ram 2500 trucks with factory rear coil springs, this system provides a 2.5-inch front lift while maintaining stock rear height, payload, and towing capacity.

This system uses Carli-SPEC 2.0-inch remote reservoir shocks custom tuned around Carli 2.5-inch front coils and factory rear coils. The result is comfortable, predictable on-road handling with a major improvement in dirt road, job site, and light off-road control compared to stock. The shocks feature 6063 aluminum construction, anodized corrosion-resistant bodies, 5/8-inch hardened steel chrome-plated shafts, 6061 billet rod ends, 1-piece bushings, full serviceability, and premium 5WT oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.

Notes:

• Designed for 2014 and newer Ram 2500 4×4 trucks with factory rear coil springs.

• Separate systems are available for Ram 2500 models with factory rear air suspension.

• Carli torsion sway bar is a recommended upgrade for improved articulation and smoother ride quality over uneven bumps.

• Carli steering stabilizers are recommended for tires larger than factory size; high mount stabilizers only work with factory steering linkage and are not compatible with Synergy steering.

• Carli radius arms and drops are optional upgrades for added strength, improved articulation, better tire clearance, and reduced potential coil bow.

Wheel and Tire Notes:

• Recommended setup for zero trimming is a 35-inch tire on an 18-inch wheel no more than 9 inches wide with 0 to +27 offset.

• 37-inch tires can fit with a +12 to +27 offset wheel no wider than 9 inches, plus mild trimming of the plastic fender liner and possible pinch weld trimming depending on tire choice.

• Tire pressure should be adjusted when running larger than stock tires to maintain ride quality and tire wear.
